Technical Guidelines
Audio Format & Recording
- 24 Bit, 48 kHz, Broadcast Wave Format, Multi-Mono
- Maximum Peak @-3 dBFS, LoCut @60-80 Hz
- Stereo track for recordings with two microphones, mono track for e.g., VoiceOver
- Boom = Channel 1/L, Lavalier = Channel 2/R
- Separate recording track per role
- Recordmode Playlist in PT
- Favorite on the Main Playlist, other recordings on alternative Playlists
- Versions (Text/Emphasis/Expression) on alternative tracks (ALT 01/02...)
- Rename Track Name after recording: Role name e.g., Mueller
PreAmp
- Class A Transistor, preferably low-noise
- Lake People F355 or similar
Microphones
Boom: (unless otherwise specified)
- Small diaphragm condenser
- MKH-40/50/416, Schoeps Cemit or similar
Lavalier: (unless otherwise specified)
- Small diaphragm condenser
- DPA-4060, Sanken COS-11 or similar
VoiceOver: (unless otherwise specified)
- Large diaphragm condenser
- Neumann U87, TLM 103 or similar
Naming Convention
- dont use special characters!
- no spaces at the end of the file!

Recording Room Specifications
- avoid using music or script stands (comb filtering)
- Room acoustics should be as dry as possible (tent), not only for outdoor scenes
- Headphones should only be used when necessary
